How to Match a Peptide COA to the Supplied Batch

A familiar product name is not enough: check which material and batch the document actually describes.

Start with the identifiers

Compare the full product name, any relevant variant and the batch or lot reference on the label with the document. If different reference systems are used, ask for a clear written mapping rather than assuming that similar-looking identifiers are equivalent.

Check context as well as the number

  • Does the report identify the product being supplied?
  • Does its batch reference match the proposed or received material?
  • Are the source, report date and stated methods visible?
  • Does the document address the requirements agreed for the order?
  • Is it a representative example or the record for this batch?

Do not transfer results between batches

A result associated with one batch should not be filed as the result for a different batch without an appropriate documented basis. A public listing may help locate a record, but it does not independently authenticate the underlying test or guarantee current inventory.

Resolve missing or inconsistent details

Use the product page and batch reference in your request. Quote the exact field that is missing or inconsistent and ask for the applicable record or explanation. Keep the response with the procurement file.

The COA directory links to information already associated with published product pages. An absent public result means a document request is needed; it does not by itself establish whether a batch has or has not been tested.
